A landslip on the route of the Dales Way means that the route into Dentdale is officially closed to walkers as well as to cyclists and vehicles until sometime in 2026. There is a diversion in place via Wold Fell but walkers have another alternative. They can head to Ribblehead from Cam Fell and join the route of A Dales High Way which will bring then into Dentdale where they can join the Dales Way again at Bridge End.
